We’re Alexa & Jenny, a queer couple living in the UK! OkeDoggy was founded together with our dearest friend Raelyn—a female artist—and her small craft studio team.
Back then, our day jobs were in interaction design and art curation. But everything changed when Pistachio joined our family in 2024. Her love is so warm, so pure—it wrapps around us like a blanket.
That’s when it hit us.
Why not turn our love for Pistachio into a lifelong career that we’d truly passionate about? Something we could build, day by day, for the rest of our lives?
OkeDoggy was our answer.
We started OkeDoggy—a brand all about hand-drawn pet portraits and customized creations.
Every piece we make feels like a little love letter to pets. We pour those everyday moments—the silly, sweet, unforgettable ones—into creative, sustainable goodies.
And of course, there’s always a little pawsitivity from Pistachio mixed in. That’s when the magic happens!
OkeDoggy isn’t just about capturing our pets’ milestones. It’s about holding on to what it feels like to live with them—right now, in this moment. Through our work, we celebrate the deep, unbreakable bond between pets and their humans—something that lights up our lives every single day.
Also, we save our biggest love for the OkeDoggy dog ambassadors—They’re all family members of our dear friends. Some are seniors, living with health issues. Some were abandoned several times before finding their forever humans—our dear friends.
To some brands, they might not “fit the mold.” To us, they’re perfect.
At OkeDoggy, we celebrate every pet. Every age, every face, every backstory. Because we believe cuteness has no single standard—and real beauty is in the diversity.
Now, may I present the one and only Pistachio! She’s not just our furry companion and muse, and OkeDoggy is basically her ‘small business’!
Pistachio is a chocolate-colored, long-haired dachshund, born on April 14, 2024. She’s an excellent swimmer, and nothing makes her happier than running wild with her bestie Bonnie (also a dachshund:)).
She curls up next to us when we cry, zooms around the house when we’re happy, and wags her fluffy little tail like crazy every time we come home.
